LPY Aquaculture Sdn Bhd commenced operations on 2 January 2023. The company is the leading player in the production of carp fish of the Osphronemus Goramy species, a high-quality freshwater fish at the seeding and upbringing stage. This fish has the potential to be a premium protein alternative for Malaysian.
Ybhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain Director General of Fisheries Malaysia was briefed on the company’s operations by YBhg. Datuk Hj. Mohd Sukor Abd Manan, one of the company’s directors and visited the fish breeding pond.
Puan Noraisyah binti Abu Bakar Director of Fisheries Selangor as well as state fisheries officers were presented throughout the visit.
